The Alresford Pigs Association is a registered charity that has been providing financial assistance to individuals and families in Alresford and the surrounding villages for over 50 years.<\/p>\n

We raise funds by organising and supporting a variety of community events, including:<\/p>\n

    Managing entry gates, collecting fees, and offering security support at the annual Alresford Show<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Coordinating traffic control at the popular watercress Festival<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Hosting the much-loved bi-annual Duck Race<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Installing, maintaining, and taking down Alresford\u2019s spectacular Christmas trees and festive lights<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Organising and performing the festive arrival of Father Christmas<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Our focus is on community spirit, participation, and having fun. We always welcome new members\u2014membership begins with a recommendation from one of our current members.<\/p>\n

    How We Help<\/h3>\n

    Thanks to the generosity of our community and the efforts of our volunteers, we\u2019ve been able to support:<\/p>\n

      Local organisations such as the Scouts, Guides, sports clubs, and youth groups<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Schools, for specific projects and initiatives<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Children unable to afford school trips<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Single-parent families needing essential household appliances<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Families facing hardship not supported by other services<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Mobility scooter purchases for individuals in need<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Park benches for public enjoyment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Events and activities for senior residents<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
