Thank You for a Blooming Beautiful Summer!
What a difference a splash of colour makes! Our hanging baskets and “up-the-pole” planters have been in full bloom all summer, and we couldn’t be happier with the way they’ve brightened up our town.
From West Street to East Street, and along Station Road and Pound Hill, every turn has been a cheerful display of flowers and greenery. We’ve had countless comments from residents and visitors about how welcoming and vibrant the town has looked and we’re not the only ones who’ve noticed! Several neighbouring councils have been in touch to ask how we achieved such fabulous results.
A big thank you goes to all the local businesses and residents who took part in the scheme, and to Windowflowers for keeping everything looking fresh and healthy through the hottest days. Their regular watering and care ensured the displays stayed picture-perfect right through the season.
The good news is you can enjoy them for a little while longer,the baskets and planters will remain in place until mid-October, so there’s still time to take in their colour and charm before they’re taken down for the year.
